The Pediatrician role is onsite in Oak Lawn, IL, with full-time schedules of three 11–12-hour shifts. The stated pay is $100–$120 per hour. The physician supports Pediatrics On Demand’s urgent care and primary care services for patients from birth through age 21. The pediatrician evaluates and treats illnesses, conditions, and injuries; orders and interprets diagnostic tests; and coordinates care with families and other medical professionals. The role contributes to the clinic’s mission of providing better healthcare for tomorrow’s leaders.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and treat illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries
• order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
• maintain patient information and histories
• prescribe and administer treatments, medications, and vaccinations
• explain procedures and results
• monitor patient progress
• coordinate referrals and consult with other medical staff
• advise families on health and prevention.
