What you'll do

• Monitor nursing care delivery and staff performance
• conduct shift staff meetings
• identify care-delivery problems and implement corrective action
• report to the Director of Nursing
• coordinate nursing services with other resident services
• investigate accidents
• maintain resident confidentiality
• develop assignments and delegate responsibilities
• make unit rounds
• address complaints and grievances
• check emergency equipment and supplies
• support staff orientation, evaluations, and in-services
• oversee nursing care, medication procedures, and resident safety
• provide direct nursing care as needed
• participate in quality improvement, infection control, and safety activities.

Why this role

Requires current Registered Nurse registration and license in the state of employment, peripheral IV certification, two years of clinical nursing experience, and CPR/BLS certification. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing and management experience are preferred.
