Patient Access Specialist

What you'll do

• Greet patients and complete registration forms and updates
• follow intake and exit collection procedures and screen for prior balances
• monitor the waiting area and support timely patient flow
• follow infection-control procedures
• enter and verify registration and insurance information
• answer intake and exit desk calls
• schedule follow-up and future appointments
• collect and balance payments
• maintain confidentiality
• route visitors and vendors
• assist providers with records
• monitor supplies and submit purchase orders
• straighten the waiting room
• work at satellite sites as needed.
