The Instructional Aide is an onsite, part-time role located in Alexander, AR. The position offers a pay rate of $18.00/hour and supports the Alexander Juvenile Treatment Center through Arkansas Quality Therapy. This role exists to guide cohorts who have been charged with a crime or are demonstrating pre-delinquent behaviors. The aide assists cohorts in gaining employment knowledge and models on-the-job work experience to help them become responsible citizens.
What you'll do
- Assess cohort situations and needs.
- Identify resources to help cohorts avoid committing more crimes.
- Coordinate services such as crisis intervention, educational services, and youth mentoring.
- Act as a liaison regarding employment and vocational training.
- Set behavioral guidelines and maintain detailed monthly records.
