What you'll do

• Receive, store, count, ship, and deliver materials
• collect production data
• inspect vehicles and secure loads
• follow safety procedures for dangerous goods
• maintain work-hour and vehicle service logs
• maneuver vehicles for loading and unloading
• report defects and incidents
• obtain delivery receipts
• check load documentation and bills of lading
• follow delivery instructions and routes
• operate trucks and navigation equipment
• load and unload materials
• inspect goods
• and perform basic vehicle maintenance and roadside repairs as needed.
