What you'll do

• Perform all required safety checks, including pre/post-trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer.
• Report safety issues and required repairs.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines.
• Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight.
• Perform count checks and verify customer invoices.
• Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer.
• Drive to and deliver customer orders according to schedule.
• Unload products and transport to designated customer storage areas.
• Perform damage control checks and manage customer returns.
• Verify deliveries and obtain signatures.
• Collect payments where required.
• Secure tractor, trailer, and freight.
• Complete daily record of hours of service.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
