What you'll do

• Operate concrete saws and other power tools
• position, align, and join pipe and set drainage structures
• install sewer, water, and storm drain pipes using excavators and laser guidance equipment
• signal equipment operators
• clean and maintain tools
• prepare work areas
• control nearby traffic if certified
• dig and backfill trenches and compact earth
• load and unload materials
• cut concrete pipe, boxes, ductile iron, and PVC.
