Commercial HVAC Mechanic — New Construction

The Commercial HVAC Mechanic role is onsite in Charlotte, NC, with compensation of $25–$35 per hour based on experience. Patterson Heating & Air Conditioning is hiring for commercial new construction and renovation projects. The mechanic installs and replaces commercial HVAC equipment and associated piping, then completes startup procedures and checklists. The work contributes to properly installed systems and quality workmanship on building projects.

What you'll do

• Install commercial HVAC systems in new and renovated buildings
• remove old equipment and set new equipment
• install ductwork, refrigeration piping, drain piping, and gas piping
• read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• complete equipment startup procedures and checklists
• maintain vehicle cleanliness, condition, and inventory.
