Junior Experience Designer

The Junior Experience Designer role is onsite in Fairfax, VA; compensation is not specified. JANSON designs environments for military customers, with work intended to support training, collaboration, and community. The designer supports projects from site documentation and as-built modeling through presentation materials and drawing production. By producing models, renderings, boards, and drawing sets under senior designers' direction, the role helps translate design concepts into project deliverables and supports the Experience Design team's technical work.

What you'll do

• Build 3D models of existing conditions from surveys, photographs, and as-built drawings
• produce renderings, presentation boards, and design-review materials
• draft and update drawing sheets, elevations, details, and schedules in Revit or AutoCAD
• assemble material and finish boards and maintain sample libraries
• conduct precedent, product, and material research
• maintain project files and asset libraries
• attend site visits and customer meetings as assigned
• support environmental graphics and wayfinding production.
