The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Certified Medication Aide (CMA) role offers flexible PRN shifts around Newton, KS and surrounding communities. CNA shifts pay up to $23.25 per hour and CMA shifts pay up to $24.50 per hour. Cascade Health Services provides mobile staffing access to shifts, primarily in long-term care and skilled nursing settings. The role exists to provide resident-care support at facilities needing staffing coverage. Depending on the shift and qualifications, work includes daily living assistance, transfers, vital signs, documentation, support for nursing staff, and medication administration for CMA shifts.

What you'll do

• Provide typical CNA and CMA support in long-term care and skilled nursing settings, including activities of daily living, transfers, vital signs, documentation, and support for nursing staff
• administer medications on qualified CMA shifts
• access available PRN shifts through the mobile app
• work across different facilities.

Why this role

Requires active Kansas CNA certification, active Kansas CMA certification for medication-aide shifts, at least six months of recent healthcare experience, current BLS/CPR, reliable transportation, and a current TB test. Travel of 30–60 minutes is strongly recommended and often required.
