The Caregiver / Direct Support Person role is onsite in Cissna Park, IL, with starting pay of $18.75 per hour. Developmental Foundations provides residential services for adults with developmental disabilities in community group homes. The caregiver supports residents’ daily needs and well-being in a home-like setting, providing companionship and assistance with personal care, meals, housekeeping, and medication. Paid training prepares new team members for certification as a DD Aide and placement on the Health Care Worker Registry.

What you'll do

• Provide companionship and caregiving
• assist with housekeeping and meal preparation
• assist with medication and personal care, including bathing, toileting, and grooming
• and remain alert and responsive. Work schedules may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
