Weekend Caregiver

The Weekend Caregiver role is onsite in Brea, CA, and pays $20–$22 per hour based on experience. Homewatch CareGivers of Yorba Linda is a local, independently owned agency that matches caregivers with clients based on experience. The role helps a senior remain safely at home by providing personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship. Available shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 2 p.m.–8 p.m. for a client requiring Hoyer lift experience, or 8 a.m.–noon for another client; both shifts may be combined for 8 a.m.–8 p.m. with a two-hour break.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, and mobility
• prepare meals
• perform light housekeeping
• provide medication reminders and companionship
• support a client using a Hoyer lift when assigned to that shift. Shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 2 p.m.–8 p.m. or 8 a.m.–noon
• both may be combined with a two-hour break.
