Job overview
The Field/Base Communications Network Engineer is an onsite role based in Bethesda, MD, with an hourly pay range of $40 to $48. This position supports the Navy's Service Management, Integration and Transport (SMIT) program, delivering core network backbone services. This role exists to manage network operations, fault diagnosis, and infrastructure installation for the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet. The engineer will perform troubleshooting, hardware configuration, and cybersecurity compliance tasks to ensure the reliability and security of large-scale defense enterprise networks.
