Sales Internship Program

The Sales Internship Program is onsite at Oakes Kia of Olathe in Olathe, KS, with a full-time Monday–Friday schedule. Compensation is $18 per hour. Oakes Auto Group is locally owned and operated and emphasizes training, development, and internal promotion. This rotational internship provides practical experience across dealership sales, finance and insurance, and sales management. Interns support dealership teams while learning customer communication, dealership operations, financing processes, and how leaders track performance and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Assist with customer communication, vehicle presentations, test drives, and deliveries
• learn dealership CRM and customer follow-up processes
• support inventory merchandising
• help organize deal paperwork and funding processes
• participate in roleplay and presentation training
• assist with tracking sales performance and customer satisfaction
• maintain performance boards, sales logs, and follow-up processes
• participate in meetings, training, and mentorship.
