Exterior Systems Design and Release Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead design, development, validation, and release of exterior components
• drive quality, cost, weight, and design-efficiency improvements
• ensure regulatory and engineering-specification compliance
• manage program deliverables and targets
• develop engineering statements of work and concepts
• support sourcing and supplier selection
• participate in design reviews
• maintain parts and bills of material
• coordinate validation and testing
• conduct root-cause analysis
• support prototype builds, plant implementation, launches, investigations, and sign-off
• and partner with supplier technical assistance teams.

Why this role

Requires at least three years of automotive exterior systems development or related engineering experience, Class-A surface and Studio interface experience, CAD experience including Teamcenter Engineering, CATIA, and 3DX, and a bachelor's degree in a related engineering field. Occasional domestic travel may be required.
