This role exists to facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures by performing first scrub duties, managing instrumentation, and ensuring sterile technique. The technologist works collaboratively with the surgical team to anticipate surgeon needs and maintain a high standard of patient safety in a fast-paced clinical environment.

What you'll do

• Performs first scrub role independently in multiple service lines.
• Understands and uses instrumentation and equipment properly.
• Precepts other staff in the scrub role.
• Enforces principles of sterile technique, maintains sharp safety, and ensures medication safety on the surgical field.
• Anticipates surgeon's requests on assigned surgical procedures.
