The Network Engineer – Technical Expert (HPC) role is onsite in Hanover, MD. The stated annual salary range is $208,000–$225,000. Vibrint supports national security missions through technology, data, and intelligence solutions; this position supports a High Performance Computing prime contract. The engineer helps deliver and sustain network capabilities across HPC servers, clusters, and specialized processing environments. The work supports mission-critical analysis and scientific discovery by installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and securing network infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Design and architect datacenter networks
• install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and security devices
• work with TCP/IP, L2/L3 protocols, stateful firewalls, and access controls
• support ticketing and live-call environments
• support on-call requirements
• work with virtualization products including VMware and Solaris containers.
