What you'll do

• Review plans, specifications, and project documents
• conduct site visits as needed
• develop detailed estimates
• collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients
• present estimates and address questions
• identify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities
• use estimating software
• follow policies and industry standards
• improve estimating methods and tools
• assess trade risks and explain estimate assumptions.
