The Chinese-Mandarin Linguist role is onsite in Pensacola, FL. Compensation is not specified. The linguist translates, interprets, transcribes, summarizes, and analyzes Mandarin Chinese and English materials to turn foreign-language information into actionable intelligence. The work supports Department of Defense and Intelligence Community operations, including counterintelligence, human intelligence, signals intelligence, and open-source intelligence missions.

What you'll do

• Provide Mandarin Chinese-English interpretation, translation, transcription, and summarization
• exploit foreign-language materials for actionable intelligence
• preserve meaning and context in translations
• produce accurate products to government quality standards
• interpret at meetings, conferences, interviews, and operational engagements as required
• prepare summaries, transcripts, and analytical reports
• review and compare translated materials for accuracy
• support additional mission requirements and high-priority taskings as assigned.
