CNC Operator – Third Shift

Job overview

The CNC Operator – Third Shift role is onsite in Fountain Inn, SC. Pay is $20–$24 per hour, plus $1.50 per hour when working third shift. The schedule is Sunday–Thursday, 7:00 PM–5:00 AM. The role supports Burton Mill Solutions’ work supplying lumber-processing equipment, technology, and tooling. The operator sets up and runs computer-controlled machines to grind and cut steel into precision blades and saws. The work contributes to product quality and customer demand through accurate machine operation, measurement, process checks, safe material handling, and participation in training and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Set up machines and change tooling or saw blades
• operate CNC machines and specialized saws or hand tools to grind and cut steel
• use calipers and micrometers
• read industrial knife blueprints
• complete Statistical Process Control charts
• perform quality checks
• load and unload steel
• clean and maintain machines and work areas
• wear required PPE
• enter data and programs accurately
• support or train others as needed
• cross-train as requested
• participate in Lean and safety training.
