The Client Acquisition Consultant is a remote opportunity for eligible applicants in AL, GA, LA, MI, MN, MO, NM, OH, SC, SD, TX, and VA. Compensation is entirely commission-based, with no base salary, hourly pay, or guaranteed minimum income. Mims Financial Services provides agents access to contracted insurance carriers, training, mentorship, and administrative resources. The consultant helps individuals and families explore financial protection options, guides them through insurance applications, and develops ongoing client relationships and a personal book of business. The role supports the agency’s insurance business through independent, ethical, client-focused sales and follow-up.

What you'll do

• Conduct client consultations to understand financial protection needs
• explain insurance products, policy features, and coverage options
• help clients compare suitable options
• manage communications and follow up on applications, underwriting requirements, and policy placement
• maintain client records and track sales activity
• build long-term client relationships
• stay informed about products and carrier requirements
• participate in available training
• follow applicable laws, carrier guidelines, ethical standards, and privacy requirements.
