Direct Support Professional — Supported Living

The Direct Support Professional role is onsite in Vinton, IA, supporting people in their homes and communities through North Star Community Services’ Supported Living Program. What you'll do

• Provide training and support according to person-centered plans
• document services according to funding regulations
• assist with home and community tasks using adaptations when needed
• help people solve problems and develop natural community supports. Other duties as needed include transportation, medication dispensing, personal care, socialization, community-resource use, and appointment support.
