The Line Cook role is onsite in Chicago, IL. Compensation is $19–$25 per hour. The position supports Aba, a Mediterranean restaurant with California influence in Chicago’s Fulton Market neighborhood. The cook prepares, produces, and presents menu items while maintaining food safety, quality, portioning, and sanitation standards and communicating with coordinators, management, and service staff to support restaurant operations.

What you'll do

• Prepare menu items according to recipes and special requests
• follow portioning controls and par levels
• maintain food safety and quality
• communicate delays and low item counts
• account for items from the station
• follow allergy and special-order procedures
• comply with safety and sanitation guidelines.
