What you'll do

• Greet, seat, and serve guests
• take and deliver orders
• suggestively sell menu items
• receive payment
• assist service personnel
• enter orders into the point-of-sale system
• prepare beverages and some appetizers, salads, and desserts
• check orders for completeness and presentation
• assist with to-go orders and telephone etiquette
• pre-bus, clear, clean, and reset tables
• address guest concerns and notify supervisors
• handle cash and card transactions
• complete side work and maintain dining and service areas.
