What you'll do

• Deliver care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation
• record medical information and monitor vital signs
• supervise nursing staff and monitor their needs
• coordinate schedules, assignments, and patient care
• oversee admissions, transfers, and discharges
• mentor and train staff
• monitor charts and provide compassionate assistance to patients and families
• communicate protocol changes with doctors and administrators
• ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• maintain accurate reports
• respond calmly to issues and emergencies.
