The Outside Sales Associate (Fresh Fish) works on a hybrid schedule based in El Monte, CA, with office hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Compensation is $55,000–$70,000 per year. The role supports Mutual Trading’s fresh fish sales and shipment operations; the company imports, manufactures, and distributes Japanese foods, beverages, restaurant equipment, and supplies. The associate develops customer accounts and meets sales goals while coordinating shipment and support activities. The role combines customer sales, product education, account service, and logistics coordination to support customers and West Coast distribution.

What you'll do

• Develop new business and manage existing accounts
• meet sales quotas
• present products and support customers
• study market trends
• prepare fresh fish catalogs and newsletters
• coordinate accounts receivable collection for fresh fish accounts
• prepare sales reports
• participate in trade shows
• coordinate weekly trucking and air shipments
• track shipments and release documentation
• work with warehouse staff and drivers on delivery routes
• and maintain the company vehicle.
