The Machine Operator – Plastics (3rd Shift) role is onsite in Clackamas, OR, working Sunday–Thursday from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Compensation is not specified. The position supports Astronics PECO’s production of aerospace interior components and systems. The operator runs molding machines to produce parts to customer specifications and production demand. By assisting with setups, monitoring quality, documenting output, and operating secondary equipment, the role helps maintain production standards and throughput.

What you'll do

• Read daily production reports
• assist with molding equipment setups
• operate molding machines and secondary equipment
• raise quality and process-control issues to the lead
• use micrometers and calipers
• inspect surfaces and adjust as needed
• complete paperwork and part counts
• operate forklifts and material-moving equipment
• clean the work area and equipment
• apply quality and safety standards.

Why this role
