Street Outreach Specialist — Community Team

The Street Outreach Specialist role is onsite across Ellensburg, Moses Lake, and Wenatchee, WA. The schedule is 40 hours per week, and starting pay is $24–$26 per hour depending on experience. The specialist locates and engages unsheltered individuals and families, connects them with internal navigators or external providers, and maintains outreach records. The work helps people connect with services and supports coordination with community partners and emergency response efforts.

What you'll do

• Conduct street outreach and community visits
• provide warm handoffs to navigators and service providers
• maintain a visible presence in identified locations
• participate in cold-weather and extreme-heat response protocols
• share observations and emerging trends with leadership and partners
• update outreach records and planning forms
• submit contact forms
• attend specified court and team meetings
• be available for flexible scheduling and calls from law enforcement to respond to sites.
