Senior Automation Engineer

The Senior Automation Engineer is a full-time, onsite position in Bloomingdale, IL, with annual pay of $80,000–$120,000. This engineer develops, integrates, troubleshoots, and improves automation systems to support production performance, quality, efficiency, and safety. The role also documents processes and trains personnel to operate and maintain equipment reliably.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, implement, and support automation systems including robots, vision systems, cameras, and downstream equipment
• troubleshoot and optimize systems
• create work instructions
• train operators and technicians
• collaborate with molding, tooling, maintenance, project management, and vendors
• support equipment installation, startup, integration, and qualification
• maintain system documentation and support continuous improvement.
