Lead Plant Operator, Renewable Natural Gas

The Lead Plant Operator, Renewable Natural Gas role is onsite in Raiford, FL, with compensation of $38–$42 per hour; eligible positions may also receive a bonus. The role supports OPAL Fuels’ Operations department at its New River renewable natural gas site, where the company captures and converts biogas into renewable natural gas and electricity. This position shares accountability for daily site operations and plant performance. It leads safety and environmental compliance, coordinates maintenance and shift coverage, supports and trains operators, and operates and maintains equipment to help maximize safe, compliant production.

What you'll do

• Lead plant safety practices, including reviewing LOTO and JHAs and reporting incidents and near misses
• support environmental monitoring, reporting, and compliance
• coordinate maintenance, vendors, outage planning, operator schedules, and shift coverage
• train and support operators
• operate, monitor, adjust, and repair gas-plant equipment
• check equipment and record production and maintenance data
• manage inventory and preventive maintenance
• respond to callouts and help resolve equipment issues.
