The work includes complex PCB layouts, cable harness and interconnect design, design reviews, and collaboration with mechanical engineering and production vendors; regular travel to Salem or Fremont averages one week per quarter, with possible extended stays during critical project phases.

What you'll do

• Create complex multilayer PCB layouts in Altium Designer
• design cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and interconnect schematics
• estimate work durations for project schedules
• develop layout and harness solutions for emissions, power, testing, manufacturing, and assembly needs
• complete design release checklists and present at cross-functional reviews
• coordinate board outlines and harness routing with Mechanical Engineering
• work with PCB fabricators, assembly houses, and cable harness vendors.
