What you'll do

• Provide assigned personal care
• communicate respectfully with patients and families
• use equipment safely
• assist with bathing, hygiene, dressing, meals, feeding, mobility, exercise, transfers, positioning, and bedpans or urinals
• take and record vital signs when ordered and competency requirements are met
• observe and report changes to the Case Manager
• assist with medication reminders as allowed by state regulations
• provide respite when appropriate
• maintain an orderly living area
• document care
• and participate in quality-improvement activities.
