Designer, BIM/Revit Specialist

The Designer, BIM/Revit Specialist role is hybrid in Portland, OR or Redmond, WA, with three days per week in the office. Compensation is $34.00–$50.00 per hour. Kleinschmidt provides multidisciplinary consulting solutions for renewable energy, water resources, and the natural environment, including hydroelectric and fish passage projects. The specialist develops and manages coordinated Revit models and drawing sets across multiple disciplines. BIM planning, model coordination, quality control, and digital delivery help project teams produce accurate client-ready deliverables through design and construction.

What you'll do

• Develop and manage coordinated Revit models, sheets, schedules, and deliverables
• set up BIM projects and execution plans
• manage cloud work-sharing and model governance
• coordinate multidisciplinary models and perform clash detection, issue tracking, and quality control
• develop and maintain Revit families, templates, content libraries, and standards
• support workflow improvements, automation, data consistency, and digital delivery
• assemble multi-discipline drawing packages
• incorporate field information and project changes
• support coordination through project completion.
