The Assistant Project Manager role is onsite in Schertz, TX. The stated salary range is $60,000–$72,000 per year. The position supports project teams at CJI Piping and Fabrication, with field hours of 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. or office hours of 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, plus additional hours as required. The role assists with project administration, scheduling, budgets, and billing while maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and jobsite personnel. It helps coordinate project documents and meetings, track progress and deliveries, and support project closeout and warranty follow-up.

What you'll do

• Develop relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
• coordinate project paperwork, schedules, budgets, invoicing, purchase orders, and subcontracts
• prepare and track RFIs, project logs, meeting agendas, and payment submissions
• monitor vendor deliveries
• support punch lists, closeout documents, and warranty tracking
• assist project managers and superintendents.
