The Teen Health and Wellness Mentor Internship is an onsite role serving schools in the Philadelphia, PA and Wilmington, DE area, with a commitment of 6–8 or more hours per week during the 2026–2027 academic year. Compensation is not specified; the posting offers a stipend and college credit may be available. HealthCorps delivers health and wellness programming to teens and works to address health inequities and develop healthy leaders. The mentor leads wellness clubs, supports student-led activities, and mentors middle and high school students on wellness, leadership, and community projects. The role also builds relationships with school staff, documents program impact, hosts wellness demonstrations, and represents HealthCorps at school and community events.

What you'll do

  • Lead Teens Make Health Happen wellness clubs in two to three middle and/or high schools
  • mentor students on wellness, leadership, and community projects
  • support student-led activities
  • build relationships with school staff and teen wellness leaders
  • track impact through assessments and program documentation
  • host monthly Café O’Yea wellness demonstrations
  • share program highlights on social media
  • represent HealthCorps at school and community events.
