Outpatient Registrar/Receptionist — Per Diem

The Outpatient Registrar/Receptionist — Per Diem role is onsite in Townshend, VT. Compensation is $19–$21 per hour. Grace Cottage Hospital and Family Health Outpatient Services provide the setting for patient registration and reception. The registrar welcomes and directs patients and visitors while collecting and verifying registration information, supporting administrative processes, and routing calls and arrivals to the appropriate staff.

What you'll do

• Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information
• obtain consents and documents
• scan insurance cards and identification
• support patients with administrative processes
• collect payments and copays, provide receipts, and run end-of-day reports
• answer and route calls
• direct visitors
• notify the inpatient charge nurse of outpatient procedure arrivals
• screen vendors and announce codes as needed.
