The Application Portfolio Owner — Finance and Accounting role is onsite in Chicago, IL, with compensation of $110,000–$140,000 per year. Clayco is a full-service real estate development, architecture, engineering, and construction firm delivering projects across North America. The role manages the Finance and Accounting application portfolio to align systems with business strategy and control cost, performance, and risk. As the liaison between business and technical teams, the owner guides application governance, vendor relationships, lifecycle decisions, and improvements to the systems supporting Finance and Accounting processes.

What you'll do

• Maintain the Finance and Accounting application roadmap
• lead application rationalization and governance
• manage software contracts and vendor relationships
• forecast licensing, maintenance, support, and upgrade costs
• manage enhancement backlogs and application lifecycle work
• oversee upgrades, deployments, testing, and go-live coordination
• ensure licensing, security, contractual, and data governance compliance
• evaluate replacement applications and decommission legacy systems
• engage stakeholders and document processes
• identify opportunities to consolidate, modernize, automate, or integrate applications.
