The Lead Commercial HVAC Service Technician role is field- and office-based, with the office in Louisville, KY and travel to projects around Kentucky and Southern Indiana. The technician leads service execution across equipment startup, warranty support, maintenance, and troubleshooting while mentoring technicians and supporting the growth of the service division. The role aims to resolve customer issues and deliver reliable, efficient system performance.

What you'll do

• Lead and support assigned technicians, including dispatch assistance, site-report review, quote generation, and quality control
• diagnose and resolve commercial HVAC issues
• perform preventive maintenance and optimize system performance
• maintain customer relationships and communicate service recommendations
• coordinate scheduling and follow-up
• mentor junior technicians
• follow safety and regulatory requirements.

Why this role

Requires at least five years of commercial HVAC service experience and EPA Universal Certification. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required. Participation in an on-call rotation is required; some overnight travel may be needed. Advancement to Service Manager may be possible as the department grows.
