Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Night Shift

The Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Night Shift role is onsite in Rochester, NY. Pay is $60–$65 per hour. This is a 13-week assignment supporting adult and geriatric patients who need progressive or step-down care.

What you'll do

• Provide direct nursing care
• monitor patients using continuous telemetry and cardiac monitoring
• assess and respond to dysrhythmias and changes in condition
• administer medications, IV therapies, and cardiac drips without titration as ordered
• monitor vital signs and neurological and oxygen status
• provide oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway management when required
• maintain lines
• administer and monitor blood products
• respond to emergencies
• document in Epic
• and follow isolation and PPE protocols.
