Pharmacy Technician, Sterile Compounding

The Pharmacy Technician, Sterile Compounding role is onsite in San Luis Obispo, CA. Pay is $30–$35 per hour. The position supports pharmacy operations through medication preparation, stock management, and order processing. The technician helps ensure medications are accurately matched, stocked, prepared, and distributed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including sterile IV product preparation.

What you'll do

• Pull medications from stock and match them with pharmacist-generated labels
• maintain floor stock by restocking, removing expired medications, and rotating inventory
• price and stock incoming deliveries
• prepare IV medication products within applicable legal and regulatory guidelines
• check in supplier orders
• distribute stock and paperwork
• process returns and back orders
• perform other related duties as assigned.
