The Straight Truck Driver role is an onsite position based in Townsend, TN. The starting base rate for this role is $22.60 per hour, with additional compensation details provided upon hire. This role supports the US Foods, Inc. distribution team, which is dedicated to helping food service customers succeed. The primary purpose of this role is to safely operate delivery trucks to transport products to customers while adhering to strict delivery schedules. The driver is responsible for unloading goods, verifying order accuracy, collecting payments, and maintaining professional customer service standards throughout the delivery process.

What you'll do

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times.
• Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures.
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
• Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience.
• Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection.
