What you'll do

• Support veterinarians and technicians with daily tasks
• greet patients and owners and obtain weights and vital signs
• triage patients and perform procedures, treatments, and medication administration as directed by licensed veterinary technicians
• assist with medication administration and patient restraint
• perform laboratory tests and take radiographs
• operate and maintain hospital equipment
• fill prescriptions and maintain controlled-drug documentation
• feed and monitor patients
• communicate with clients and provide information about insurance, wellness, and medicinal plans
• clean and maintain the hospital, equipment, and kennels
• bathe and groom patients
• maintain medical records and follow safety regulations.
