The Medical Assistant — Family Medicine role is onsite in Mesquite, TX, with pay of $18–$21 per hour. The position supports the Family Medicine team at HHM Health, whose mission is to provide high-quality, compassionate healthcare to all. The medical assistant supports providers in outpatient care through clinical and administrative tasks, helping patients move through visits and understand follow-up instructions. Accurate documentation, room preparation, and compliance support safe, coordinated care.

What you'll do

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, histories, and chief complaints
• prepare patients for examinations and assist with procedures
• perform permitted injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing
• administer medications and vaccines under provider direction
• document in the EMR
• provide patient education and follow-up instructions
• clean and stock exam rooms
• follow HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies.
