Utility Locator (Field Technician) — Fort Worth

The Utility Locator (Field Technician) role is onsite in Fort Worth, TX. Pay is $21 per hour. Stake Center Locating trains entry-level technicians to locate underground utilities and help prevent damage in the community. The technician uses locating equipment and technology to identify underground utilities, marks their locations, processes tickets, and communicates with peers, managers, and homeowners. The work supports safe, accurate utility locating in the field.

What you'll do

• Use a laptop to receive, document, and process tickets and email
• read maps and interpret blueprints to determine locating methods and sequence
• use provided equipment and technology to locate underground utilities
• mark locations with paint and flags
• communicate with peers, managers, and homeowners
• follow safety practices. The schedule may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and scheduled on-call rotation.
