CNC Lathe Machinist

It supports production quality by inspecting parts, troubleshooting setups, and organizing materials and job information for subsequent runs.

What you'll do

• Read process sheets, job folders, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining requirements
• maintain job folder integrity
• repair or adjust setups and tooling and troubleshoot nonconforming processes
• select and install preset tooling
• monitor machine controls and verify adjustments, feed rates, and speeds
• inspect first-run and subsequent pieces for conformance
• organize materials for the next run
• set up and operate another machine.
