CNC Lathe Operator

Job overview

The CNC Lathe Operator role is onsite in Ipswich, MA, with pay of $20–$25 per hour. Momentum Manufacturing Group is a manufacturing partner to OEMs and product manufacturers, producing metal components and value-added capabilities. The operator sets up and runs CNC lathes to produce precision parts that meet specifications and quality standards. The role supports production through inspection, machine adjustments, documentation, and collaboration with engineering and quality teams.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines according to job specifications and blueprints
• load raw materials and monitor machine operations
• perform routine maintenance and cleaning
• inspect finished parts with precision measuring instruments
• adjust settings and tooling to correct defects or improve efficiency
• document production data and issues
• collaborate with supervisors and engineers
• follow safety guidelines and maintain an organized work area.
