What you'll do

• Verify patient eligibility and benefits, including deductibles and copayments, before appointments
• document account comments in the practice management system
• verify demographic information
• cover front desk duties as needed
• troubleshoot eligibility discrepancies
• research and resolve file issues
• review and reconcile enrollment and eligibility reports
• track error trends
• inform and educate patients about benefit status.
