• Prepare detailed estimates and bids
• review plans, specifications, contracts, and bid documents
• perform quantity takeoffs for site preparation, earthwork, utilities, drainage, irrigation, roadways, and paving
• develop labor, equipment, material, subcontractor, and production costs
• compare supplier and subcontractor proposals
• identify risks and cost-saving opportunities
• and prepare bid packages and supporting documentation.
