Furnace Operator – Second Shift

Furnace Operator – Second Shift is an onsite role with positions in New Berlin, WI, and Waukesha, WI. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. Pay is $23.40–$39.79 per hour, including a 17% shift differential. ThermTech provides heat-treating services. The operator processes customer parts according to production schedules and work instructions, monitors quality and equipment, and records process data. The role supports accurate heat treatment and delivery of parts that meet customer requirements.

What you'll do

• Read production schedules and work orders
• record operation times
• adjust furnace controls using instruments and gauges
• test parts for hardness
• verify customer requirements and document nonconformities
• perform quality checks
• enter part data
• notify maintenance staff of equipment issues
• package parts
• instruct new workers
• maintain furnace equipment as needed.
