Functional Specialist / IT Control Assessor

The Functional Specialist / IT Control Assessor role is onsite in Springfield, VA, with annual compensation of $130,000–$140,000. The role supports RiVidium’s IT Audit Management Team and its audit management, statutory compliance, and internal control testing activities. The specialist manages audit evidence review, vulnerability tracking, compliance testing, and coordination across organizations. The work supports timely audit responses, remediation, and clear reporting to leadership.

What you'll do

• Support the IT audit lifecycle, including receipt, coordination, tracking, remediation, response, and reporting
• review audit evidence and evaluate responses
• track information system vulnerabilities and audit correspondence
• perform IT control testing for OMB A-123 and support the Statement of Assurance
• prepare executive communications and map findings to corrective actions
• provide status reports and metrics
• recommend process improvements.

Why this role
